Hello there! It's time once again for another BluzNdaBlood Show! This is your "Missing In Action" Brutha Dave coming at ya once again from the very soggy and rain soaked studio in the Star City of Virginia!

This show is gonna be another great one! There's nothing like a good dose of the blues to brighten a rainy day or to cure what ails ya! Well, that's the name of today show! Blues! It'll Cure What Ails Ya!

Well, we started off the show with "Bargain! Shop Panties" from Little Miss Higgins, that was requested by my friend Stacy for the last Women in Blues show! I couldn't find any of her tunes by that deadline but it made this one!

So who else are we gonna hear from on my "Blues! It'll Cure What Ails Ya!" show? How about The Lionel Young Band, Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin' Altar Boys, Bryan Lee, Lara Price, the great artists on Blues Cure Studio Jam Volume 3, The Chris Bergson Band, Kaye Bohler, Roomful of Blues, Rickey Godfrey, Matt Daniels, Mikey Junior and Cold Stone Blues, and wrapping up with Jimmy Pritchard!

So…. Are you ready ready to hear some great Blues tunes that'll cure what ails ya?

Well, I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

What a great first set to start off our show! That first tune off that set was the cover "Strollin' with the Bone" from The Lionel Young Band. If you remember they won the recent International Blues Challenge in the Band category! Following LYB we have Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin' Altar Boys with their great tune, "Mail Box Blues". The last song of the first set is the great Braille Blues Daddy Bryan Lee cranking out the blues with "Too Many Wolves".

I was fortunate to be travelling to San Jose and noticed that Lara Price was playing at The Poor House Bistro on a Thursday night I had open! What a treat it was to see Lara again! It's great to hear her belt out "Voodoo Woman" from her newest CD Everything. Next up is the great tune from Sean Carney and friends from the Blues For A Cure Benefit! It's Omar Coleman singing "Two Headed Woman"... Hey I think I know her! :-)  Proceeds from the sale of this Blues Cures Studio Jam Volume 3 goes to benefit cancer research and The Blues Foundation! It's a killer CD, so get your copy today! Wrapping up the set  is The Chris Bergson Band with "Mr. Jackson" off of his brand new CD, imitate the sun.

Our next set started off with a tune from Kaye Bohler from her brand CD called Like A Flower. On her tune, "I Got To Know" she gets some help from none other than Tommy Castro and Tom Poole, Tommy's trumpet player! Following Kaye is the great Roomful of Blues back with a great cover, "Gate Walks To Board" from their newest CD, Hook, Line & Sinker. Rickey Godfrey closes out this set with a great little tune off his Nasty Man CD called "It's A Good Time To Drink". And yes, it is!

Next up is in the last and final set are some guys that I really believe in! All of these guys are members of Mikey Junior and Stone Cold Blues but also do some things out on their own! So, let's start off with "Yo, Matt!" which has some great guitar work from Matt Daniels off of his brand new CD called Yo, Matt! Do An Instrumental! Following Matt will be all the guys including drummer Adam Stranburg with their cover of "Can't Be Satisfied" from Mikey Junior's newest CD It Ain't Hard To Tell. Wrapping up the show is a great tune from Jimmy Pritchard called "Thank You All For Giving Me The Blues" from his new CD Shoppin For The Blues!
