Welcome back, my friends! It's time once again for another BluzNdaBlood Show! This is your  brutha Dave Harrison coming at ya once again from the blues filled studio in the Star City of Virginia!

You know the old song used to say that there ain't no cure for the summertime blues! But I tell ya what! With the songs that I've picked out for today's show, I think I've got your cure for the summertime blues!

Well, we started off the show with Ivan Appelrouth playing "T-Boned Again" off his new Eller Soul Records CD called Blue & Instrumental! Now that's a super song!

So who else are we gonna hear from on this "Summertime Blues" show? How about Lloyd Jones, Too Slim & the Taildraggers, Grady Champion, Kurt Crandall, JP Soars, a song  by Sean Carney, Trampled Under Foot and Jonn "Del Toro" Richardson, Terry Hanck, Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, Jean Shy & Friends, Tommy Lee Cook, KK Martin, and wrapping up with a great song by Keb' Mo' and Taj Mahal!

So…. Are you ready to hear what'll cure your "Summertime Blues"? Well, I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started off the first full set with Lloyd Jones talking about the Ice Cream Man. Following Lloyd is Too Slim and the Taildraggers and ending the set is the IBC winner Grady Champion!

Now in our second full set, I start off with a tune from a gentleman I met when we helped judge the River City Blues Society's blues competition! It's Kurt Crandall singing and playing "Boogy Fool!" After Kurt, it's great to hear a tune from the brand new JP Soars CD More Bess With Honey! And closing out this send set is a SUPER song by Sean Carney, Jonn Richardson, and Trampled Under Foot! Of course this is off of the Blues Cures Studio Jam CD! Get your copy today by going to http://Bluesforacure.org !

Our next set is making my summertime blues disappear quickly! It's a little greasy soul rockin' blues from Terry Hanck, followed buy the great Rod Piazza off his newest Delta Groove CD Almighty Dollar! Ending our set is the beautiful Jean Shy with a great tune off of her Blow Top Blues CD! I also have included a brief update from TIna Walker about Jean's status. As you may or may not know, Jean suffered a stroke while on tour in Germany and is slowly recovering now back in California. Let's keep our thought and prayers heading her way!

Our last set of music is a great way to wrap our show! We start off with the owner of the Buckingham Blues Bar and musician, Tommy Lee Cook playing that humorous tune "Take a Breath"... We follow up with K.K. Martin playing his cover of "Slow Motion Daddy" and end this summertime blues show with a great song by Keb' Mo' and Taj Mahal singing and playing "Am I Wrong" from a Lee Ritenour CD called 6 String Theory.

Well, I hope you've enjoyed show #124, "Summertime Blues!"...
