Welcome
back, my friends!
As I look through all this great music on my desk and
hand-pick the tunes for the next show, it's obvious I've got
a lot of top notch blues! So it's time once again for another BluzNdaBlood Show!
This is show #126 and is in fact, "The Top Notch Blues
Show!" This is
your blues DJ Dave Harrison coming at ya once again
from the blues filled studio in the
Star City of Virginia! |
Well, we started off the show with
The Mighty Mojo Prophets with their tune "Friday Night
Telephone Call" |
So what
other top notch blues artists are you gonna be treated with
on today's show? How about
Lynnwood Slim and The Igor Prado Band, the newest
from
Candye Kane,
Grady Champion,
The F & G
Band, Mike
Zito, Lisa
Mann, Bryan
Lee, J.P.
Soars and The Red Hots,
Aaron
Williams and the Hoodoo,
B.J. Allen &
Blue Voodoo,
Watermelon Slim and The Workers, and wrapping up with
the newest from Ana
Popovic!
So…. Are you
ready to hear some more "Top Notch Blues"?
Well, I hope so! Crank it up my
friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started off the first full set with
the great CD,
Lynwood Slim and the Igor Prado Band, followed up by
another great Delta
Groove Music artist the beautiful
Candye Kane from her newest CD, and wrapping up this set
is Grady Champion
with a tune written by Grady,
Zac Harmon, and
Christopher Troy!

Now in our second full set,
The F & G
Band struts their stuff with their tune "You Don't Sing
The Blues, The Blues Sings You" followed by the newest from
Mike Zito.
Lisa Mann
then ends up the set with her beautiful cover of "At
Last"... Man, that's a beautiful song and so well done!
Our next set is
another example of some incredible top notch blues. There's
nothing like a little old school blues from the Braille
Blues Daddy,
Bryan Lee! Following Bryan,
JP Soars
gives us a treat with his tune "Hot Little Woman" followed
by Aaron
WIlliams and The Hoodoo!
Our last set of music is a great way to wrap our show! We
start off with the great
B.J. Allen and
Blue Voodoo with their song called "Radio Song"!
Following B.J., is one of my favorite songs "Truck Driving
Mama" from
Watermelon Slim & The Workers! A few years back I
requested that tune when I saw Bill Homans at the 202 Market
in Roanoke and he played the song for me! Check it out on my
BluzNdaBlood YouTube Channel! We wrap up the show with a
song off of Ana
Popovic's newest
Eclecto Groove CD, Unconditional....
