This is your Brutha Dave Harrison coming at ya once again from the blues filled studio in the Star City of Virginia! Welcome back to another BluzNdaBlood Show!

It's time for another great show! This will be Show #129 and it's a festival preview to highlight the great performers coming to the Summer's Last Blast & Blues Festival  this year to be held on September 17th at The Pavilion at Acadia in Piedmont, SC!

Well, we started off the show with a great tune from the festival's headliner, Beverly "Guitar" Watkins playing her tune "I'm Gonna Rock Some More" off of her CD, Back In Business.

So…. Are you ready to hear a preview  of the music coming to Summer's Last Blast & Blues Festival? Well, I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!
 

Well, we started off the first set with two tunes from Matt Walsh, "Hard To Find" and "Goin' Out" off of his Raw Tone Records CD, Hard Luck. Matt will be on stage at 2:30 pm!

Next on stage from 3:30 is Freddie Vanderford with Brandon Turner and The Shades! Let's listen in to two tunes from Freddie's"Greasey Greens!" CD... Here's "Greasy Greens", and "Parchman Farm".

Next up on stage at 4:30 is The J Edwards Band! He's old school, new school, and everything between! I've played him a the show before and it'll be a treat to see him live! But let's hear a preview of two tunes of his, here's "New Shoes" and "Eatin' At Lulu's"...
 

We're in for a real treat now! Gracing the stage at 5:30 will be Cee Cee James with Rickey Godfrey! I've also played Rickey on my show before and love his new CD! I was really pleased and surprised when I heard he teamed up with Cee Cee! Let's play "I Want Me A Nasty Woman" from his new CD and follow up with the Hound Dog Taylor number, "Give Me Back My Wig" from Cee Cee! After that we'll treated to a special song "Some Day I'll Be Going Home" that Cee Cee and her husband Rob wrote that is now on the "Never Forgotten" compilation CD, whose proceeds benefit numerous charities. If it's 6:30 pm, it's time to get Stingin' and Swingin' with The King Bees from Todd, NC! Let's listen to two songs on their newest CD, "Low Down Dog" and "Coup de Ville"! Great stuff! I can't wait to see them perform!
 

Our last set of music provided by our beautiful headliner, Beverly "Guitar" Watkins playing a super tune called, "Right String With The Wrong Yo-Yo!" and we wrap up the show with "Miz Dr. Feelgood"...

Don't forget there's lots of food and drinks there, so leave your coolers at home!
