Hey there! Welcome to another BluzNdaBlood Show!

This is your missing in action blues DJ Dave Harrison coming at ya once again from  the Star City of Virginia!

This is Show #132!
It's that time of year again! It's time for another "Blues Yule Love, 2011" This show is playing lots of new and
old holiday tunes, not bluesy, some not so bluesy... I always enjoy putting these shows together!!!

Well, we started off the show a great cover from Davina and the Vagabonds playing "Sleigh Ride!" This
song can be found on the Christmas to cure Cancer 5 CD! It's a super CD that provides 100% of their
proceeds to cancer research!

So who else is on my Blues Yule Love show?
Well, how about Tinsley Ellis, Shemekia Copeland, Sean Carney & Omar Coleman, Lawrence Lebo,
The Holmes Brothers, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Cyndi Lauper, Saffire - The Uppity Blues Women,
Jeff Healey, The Rusty Wright Band, The Michael Burks Band, Cephas and Wiggins, Nasty Ned, and
Ratcliff Bailey?

So are you ready to fill up on your egg nog, grab a seat and listen to some Blues Yule Love?
Well, I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started off the first set with Tinsley Ellis with "Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin" off the SUPER
Alligator Record CD Genuine Houserockin' Christmas. Shemekia Copeland follows asking Santa to
"Stay A Little Longer Santa". Sean Carney and Omar Coleman end the set with "I Want To Spend
Christmas With You" off a CD that has yet to be released yet! Thanks to Mark Puskarich for sending
me a copy of this preview! While you're at it though, head out and get Sean and Omar's newest release
Very Lucky Man.

Next up on the show is Lawrence Lebo informing us that "(I'm Your) Christmas Present, Baby" of her CD
Don't Call Her Larry, Vol 2. The Holmes Brothers then provide a great tune talking about being a
"Back Door Santa"... The great Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown wraps the set up with a very jazzy and
bluesy holiday tune simply called, "Christmas".

The next set starts off with that girl that just wants to have fun, Cyndi Lauper. She's put together a holiday single
called "Blue Christmas Mix". Following Cyndi, we're treated the fantastic Saffire-The Uppity Blues Women with
"Really Been Good This Year". Jeff Healey ends the set with the rocking song, Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me".

The next set starts with a great new humorous tune from The Rusty Wright Band called "Santa's In Jail".
The Iron Man Michael Burks himself cranks up the next song of the set with the slow smoking tune, "Christmas Snow".
The one and only Cephas and Wiggins get acoustic with the their super sound of "Christmas Day Blues".

Our last short set of holiday music ends with Nasty Ned and "Love Together Merrily" and Ratcliff Bailey
ends up Show #132 with "All I Got For Christmas Was The Blues"....

Well, I hope you've enjoyed show #132, "Blues Yule Love, 2011"...
