This is show #51, The Birthday Blues Show – Part 2 for the last part of June, 2008.

Welcome back to the BluzNdaBlood Podcast! Your first stop for the best of the blues!

This is Dave Harrison, coming at ya once again inside the birthday blues studio in the Star City of Virginia! It’s party time! It’s not only our 51st show on the podcast but also our 2 year anniversary! Whoopie! So are you ready to look back at the growth of the BluzNdaBlood podcast and some flashbacks on the memories I have in creating them? Show #51 will focus on Shows 30 through 49! You strapped in and ready for some more birthday celebrating? I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running!

Well, we started of the show with the incredible guitar slinger for the Roomful of Blues, Chris Vachon,  introducing their tune Jona Lee!

Who else will be helping out with the birthday celebration? How about
Tom Hunter, Layin In The Alley;

The Laurie Morvan Band, Wiggle Room;

and our first dedication song going out to Richard from Billy with
The Tommy Castro Band playing Cant Keep A Good Man Down;

John Hammond, Butter;

Patty Benson, High Price Love;

The Smokin Mojo Kings, Aint Run Out of You;

Deborah Coleman, Love Moves Me;

Cephas and Wiggins, Aint Seen My Baby;

Rod and Honey Piazza introducing Tough and Tender;

and wrapping up with
Watermelon Slim and the Workers brand new tune Archetypal Blues No. 2 from his new release No Paid Holidays!

Special thanks to all the record labels, the artists, and the listeners who helped contribute to the show!  A special thank you always goes out to Michael Allen and the
Crossroads Blues Gallery for the excellent artwork that enhances my web pages!

Be sure to swing by the BluzNdaBlood home page! There are new pages that highlight details of the artists that I play! Please come over, click on their albums, and buy some of their tunes! Or e-mail them and let them know you enjoy their music and you hear it on the BluzNdaBlood show!

Special news for everyone! Hey, guess what? BluzNdaBlood T-shirts, cups, posters, bags, and lots of other items are coming your way soon! A major portion of the proceeds will go to a foundation that provides funds for medical needs to ailing blues musicians! Absolutely nothing goes into Dave’s pockets! More info on the BluzNdaBlood web site by clicking on the T-Shirt!

Please keep in touch! I always enjoy hearing from you! You can e-mail me at
