This is show #80, Big Lick Blues!

Hey, welcome back, everyone! This is Dave Harrison coming at you once again in the blues filled studio in the Star City of Virginia…
I’ve got another great show for you! This show is a festival preview podcast and is highlighting the artists that will be performing
at this year’s
Suntrust Big Lick Blues Festival to be held October 3rd in Roanoke, Virginia!

Well, we started off the show with our festival’s headliner, Delbert McClinton, singing “Going Back to Louisiana”… So who else are
we gonna hear from on today's show other than Delbert? Well, we’ll here 6 songs from him, 4 from
The Reverend Billy C. Wirtz and
Victor Wainwright, 2 from Stacy Brooks, and 1 from The Mo’ Hippa Band!  So…. Are you ready for some Big Lick Blues? I hope so!
Crank it up, my friends, we’re off and running!

In my first set, we’ll be starting off with Delbert singing “Do It”, followed by The Mo’ Hippa Band playing “Bad Case of Love”. They
won the blues competition at this year’s Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival! After that tune, we heard Delbert belting out “Little Fine
Healthy Thing.” Our second set has Stacy Brooks singing “Rock Me, Baby” and “Hound Dog” followed up by Delbert closing the
set with “Living It Down.”  My third set has three tunes from the funny as hell duo of
The Reverend Billy C. Wirtz and Victor Wainwright
playing “Shake, Rattle and Roll”, “Don’t Ya Just Know It” and “Female Problems”. Our 3 time Grammy winner
Delbert McClinton
closes out the BluzNdaBlood show with two of his hits, “B Movie Box Car Blues” and “Giving It Up For Your Love”.

Enjoy the show and keep in touch! I hope to see you down at the festival! Also you can keep in touch by visiting my Internet sites!
