The idea of creating a radio show (podcast) started when I was taking an "Emerging Technologies in Education" while pursuing a Masters at Virginia Tech. As a project, we had to select an emerging technology that we wanted to focus on. At the time, podcasting was brand new!
In 2006, I decided to start a radio show, and The BluzNdaBlood Show was born! Finding software was a little challenging but I selected a tool called Propaganda, that served me well for years until I migrated to Mac products and began using (and still do) the Hindenburg software! In 2007, my show began airing on KCOR, Kansas City Online Radio! The show is now broadcast on numerous affiliates around the world and available 24/7 on The BluzNdaBlood Radio on Live365!
This hobby has opened many doors for me and provided me the opportunity to promote incredible people with incredible music. I love all types of music, but concentrated the show on the blues genre!
In 2018, I retired from my primary money-paying job in higher education after 43 years. Prior to that, I proudly served in the United States Air Force!
Aside from the doing the show, I enjoy beekeeping, traveling, and spending time at shows, concerts, and festivals.
